Thanks to a recent partnership between Meals on Wheels of America and DoorDash, we have been able to collaborate with local Dashers to deliver meals to our clients.
This partnership, made possible by grant funding, has significantly relieved the pressure on our staff and volunteers, helping us maintain the quality of service our clients rely on.
With volunteerism at a national low, our organization (and many others) has been stretched thin to ensure that our clients continue to receive their meals. Grant funding is never guaranteed, and we continue to need the support of dedicated volunteers to keep our services running smoothly.
