PAWS Program

The PAWS (Pets Assisting the Well-being of Seniors) Program offers free supplemental pet food and flea/tick medicine for qualified seniors.

Pets have a positive impact for our clients. They provide companionship, combat loneliness, offer emotional support, and promote physical health and activity. Many of our clients are on a fixed income, and we want them to enjoy their pets without the stress of added expenses.

Program Requirements

  • Seniors Aged 60+
  • Resident of Solano County
  • Meals on Wheels of Solano County client
  • Social or economic need for pet food

Program Benefits

  • Free supplemental pet food
  • Free supplemental flea medicine (upon request)
