Giving starts at home. Solano County is home to Meals on Wheels and we serve over 245,000 meals per year to seniors in need within our community. Considering a Community Sponsorship or Partnership is a wonderful way for businesses to give back to the communities they serve.

Event Sponsorship

In addition to applicable tier benefits, we offer event sponsors unique naming opportunities and a dedicated press release.

Day-of Meals & Holiday Meals

Funding for meals grows ever more critical to the success of our core program. By sponsoring meals, you make a tangible difference in seniors’ lives: you fill bellies, bring comfort, and improve their overall health.

Food Donation

We can accept unexpired raw ingredients and certain types of prepared food for use in our kitchen. Local businesses have donated snacks, produce, shelf-stable goods, and more to be served up as a delicious meal. Café LUNCH & LEARNS

Our Connection Café hosts a variety of activities, including our Lunch & Learn series. Lunch & Learn is a way to connect older adults with programs, services, and agencies designed to help them as they age.

In-Kind Giving

Care Packages

Our clients especially appreciate fans during summer, blankets and space heaters in winter, incontinence supplies, or even just little goodie bags.

Fill Our Pantry

Donating to our food pantry helps us provide shelf-stable goods to those in need.

Feed the pets

Have a heart for animals? Ensuring that seniors with pets have access to the resources they need to care for their beloved animal companions goes a long way.

Volunteer Opportunities

Adopt a route

Your team will take over delivery on several of our routes. Connect with our clients face-to-face; make their day with small talk and show our community that your business actively helps out!

PAWS Delivery

Your team will take over the delivery on distribution of our PAWS food. Connect with our clients face-to-face and get some snuggle time with their cats and dogs!

Administrative Help

Your team will work one-on-one supporting our admin staff with the important tasks we just can't quite get to. Anything from filing to 3-month re-evaluation calls, and even signing donor thank-you letters — the opportunities are endless!
